Two decades of experience in empirical research: Welcome to our Network!
Since 2007 the “International Network for Research and Development of Confirmation and Christian Youth Work” is working on several empirical projects. Its members represent 10 European countries: Austria, Denmark, England, Finland, Hungary, Germany, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland.
The Network was responsible for three international studies on confirmation work, published in a number of books and various articles. Conferences take place in different countries throughout the years. The tool i-konf has been developed as an international feedback tool for confirmation work and is available in different languages.
Currently plans involve a panel study on confirmation work with “i-konf” as well as qualitative studies with confirmands from several countries on the question of quality in confirmation work.
